Understand your work shifts
When you take your attendance is determined by the shifts you have. To understand the shifts you are assigned:
- On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
- At the bottom, tap Discover.
- Tap Attendance.
- In the upper right, tap Rule Detail.
- View your attendance rule.
- Attendance Type: the attendance type your admin set for you. Learn more about attendance types.
- Work Shift: the time zone your organization is based on.
- Work Days: tap to view the days you’re scheduled to work shifts. Below, tap each row to view the timings for each type of work shift you’ve been scheduled.
- Office Location: the locations you can clock in and out.
- Others: other settings for taking attendance, including whether attendance corrections are allowed and whether you can take attendance offsite.

On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
At the bottom, tap Discove
